Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 August 2026. This policy covers the Salah Time Android app, the Wear OS app, and this website.
The short version
Salah Time has no server, no user accounts and no analytics. Prayer times and the Qibla direction are calculated on your device. Nothing about you is sent to Brandistries LLC or to anyone else.
What the app collects
Nothing is collected in the sense of being transmitted or stored by us. The app reads and stores the following on your device only:
- Coarse location. Requested at runtime and used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla bearing. It is held in the app's private storage and is never transmitted.
- Your settings. Calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule, notification sound mode, theme and manual minute adjustments.
- Your tasbih counts. Stored locally so the counter survives a restart.
- Cached prayer times. A local cache so the app does not repeat the same calculation.
- Compass and accelerometer readings. Read live for the Qibla screen and never written down.
All of it lives in the app's private sandbox. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
What the app does not do
- It contains no analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting library.
- It shows no adverts and reads no advertising identifier.
- It has no login, no account and no cloud backup.
- It does not use the internet to fetch prayer times, the Qibla bearing or the azan schedule.
- It does not read your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
Permissions and why they exist

Payments
The optional Supporter unlock is processed by Google Play Billing. Brandistries LLC never sees or stores your payment details. Google's own privacy policy governs that transaction, and refunds are handled through your Google Play order history.
This website
This site is a plain marketing and support site. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A single session cookie is created only when you use the support form, purely to protect the form against cross-site abuse; it holds no personal data and expires when you close your browser.
The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser user-agent) for security and troubleshooting. Fonts are served from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
The support form
When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, chosen topic, any device details you enter and your message. We use them to answer you and for nothing else. You are not added to any mailing list. We keep support correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours sooner.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because the app holds no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to export or erase — uninstalling handles it. For anything you sent through the support form, write to support@brandistries.com and we will confirm deletion.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
