How can we help?
Check the common answers below first — most questions are covered there. If yours is not, write to us and a human will reply.
Common questions
The azan did not play
Android must be allowed to fire exact alarms, otherwise the system may delay the azan by many minutes. Open Settings → Notifications in the app. If you see the warning "Exact alarms off", tap Fix and grant the permission.
Also check that battery optimisation is not restricting the app, and that the sound mode in Settings → Notifications is not set to Silent.
The prayer times are a few minutes off
Different mosques follow different calculation methods. Open Settings → Prayer Calculation and choose the method your local mosque uses: Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura or Egyptian. Set the Asr madhab to Shafi or Hanafi to match.
If your mosque is still a minute or two out, use the per-prayer minute adjustments in the same screen.
Fajr or Isha is missing or looks strange
At high latitudes the sun never drops far enough below the horizon for a true Fajr or Isha angle. The app applies a high-latitude rule instead of showing nothing. You can change which rule it uses in Settings → Prayer Calculation.
The Qibla arrow spins or points the wrong way
The compass uses your phone's magnetometer, which drifts near metal, magnets, speakers and car dashboards. Move away from those, then wave the phone in a figure-of-eight a few times to recalibrate. The app shows a warning when it detects low sensor accuracy.
The app asks for my location. Where does it go?
Nowhere. Location is read as a coarse fix on the device and used only for the on-device maths. The app has no server and sends no data anywhere. See the privacy policy.
Times stopped updating after I restarted my phone
The app re-arms its alarms after a restart, but some manufacturers block that until the app is opened once. Open the app after a restart and the schedule will rebuild. If it happens every time, please write to us with your phone model.
What does the Supporter unlock give me?
It is a one-time thank-you. Nothing in the app today is locked behind it, and it reserves premium themes and reciters that are still to come. Purchases are handled by Google Play, so refunds go through your Google Play order history.
The watch app does not show my times
The Wear OS app is standalone and calculates its own times using Muslim World League and Shafi. It needs location permission granted on the watch itself. Settings do not yet sync from the phone.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app. Everything it stored — settings, tasbih counts and the cached times — lived only on your device and goes with it. There is no account to close.
